At Kate & Hove Mini Goldendoodle and Labradoodle Home, we are committed to ensuring our customers receive healthy, happy Mini Groodle and Labradoodle puppies, and are satisfied with their experience. Due to the nature of our business — involving the adoption of live animals — we follow a strict yet fair Refund and Return Policy, in compliance with Australian Consumer Law.
1. Health Guarantee
All puppies adopted from Kate & Hove come with a comprehensive health guarantee. Each puppy undergoes a thorough veterinary health check and is vaccinated, wormed, and microchipped before going to their new home.
If within 7 days of receiving your puppy, a licensed veterinarian certifies that the puppy has a serious congenital or hereditary health condition, we will offer the following options:
A replacement puppy of equivalent value (when available), OR
A full or partial refund, depending on the condition and specific circumstances.
You must provide:
A written veterinary report, and
Any relevant supporting documentation.
2. Change of Mind
Due to the emotional and biological nature of live animal adoption, we do not offer refunds or returns for “change of mind” after a deposit has been placed or the puppy has been delivered or collected.
We encourage all prospective families to be 100% committed before making a purchase decision.
3. Deposits
Deposits are non-refundable, except in the following situations:
The puppy becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness or injury before pickup), OR
The breeder (Kate & Hove) cancels the adoption.
If the customer cancels the adoption for personal reasons, the deposit is forfeited.
4. Returns
We do not accept returns of puppies except in the following cases:
A verified breach of the health guarantee, OR
A return made under compassionate grounds, as approved by Kate & Hove.
In such rare circumstances, the customer may return the puppy, and we will evaluate the case individually to determine the most suitable outcome for both the puppy and the adopter.
5. Transport-Related Issues
If injury, illness, or death occurs during third-party transport arranged by the buyer, Kate & Hove is not liable.
However, if Kate & Hove arranges delivery and a verifiable issue arises during transport, we will work with the buyer to resolve the matter fairly and appropriately.
6. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if your puppy has a major problem or if the product/service we provided does not meet consumer guarantees.
